Course description.

 This course is for beginners and existing therapists. Facials are very popular in the industry. You will use a variety of products on the client and will be able to identify which product will benefit the clients skin type. 

Units covered.

During the course, you will learn the following: 
  • Client care
  • Contra indications and actions. 
  • Aftercare
  • Equipment need
  • Skin types and analysing the skin
  • Being aware of which products to use on certain skin types
  • Types of cleaners, toners, exfoliants, mask, moisturisers
  • Massage mediums
  • Facial routine cleansing, toning, mask and moisturising
  • Massage routine of face, neck, shoulders and scalp
  • Anatomy and Physiology of the face
  • Promoting yourself to gain more clients

Assessment method. 

You will be assessed through a practical assessment and assignments.

What do I need to bring? 

You will need to bring paper, pen, pencil and a packed lunch if you are attending a daytime course.
Refreshments will be provided. There is plenty of parking on site which is free.
