Course description.

This course is for existing therapists with a massage qualification. Stone massage helps sooth clients aches and pains with the use of heat from the stones and the pressure used. 1stroke of the stone is equivalent to  10 manual strokes. Within the course, you will be taught how to blend both the use of the stones in with manual massage.

During the course, you will learn the following: 
  • Client care
  • Contra indications and actions. 
  • Aftercare
  • Consultation
  • Equipment need
  • Anatomy and Physiology
  • Different stones and their uses
  • Provide a stone therapy massage
  • Promoting yourself to gain more clients

Assessment method. 

You will be assessed through a practical assessment and assignments. 

What do I need to bring? 

You will need to bring paper, pen, pencil and a packed lunch if you are attending a daytime course.
Refreshments will be provided. There is plenty of parking on site which is free.
